My career began in heavy industry, but my true passion has always been writing. I first worked as a draftsman and advanced to become a mechanical designer. Later, I became a self-taught technical illustrator. Bitten by the writing bug some twenty years ago, I still support military and commercial aviation with my technical writing. During all this, I also concentrated on education by taking various writing classes and workshops. It has become a voracious hunger.
My formal education includes a certificate in feature film writing from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a diploma in copywriting from the College of Media and Publishing, Chichester, West Sussex, United Kingdom. Both were earned with distinction. In addition, my film education led to a self-study of production, motion graphics, video editing, and creative writing.
With some gentle nudges from my writing and filmmaking fellow travelers in Los Angeles, England, and Germany, I have kept creating in what I like to call my fiction factory. These nudges often come in the form of shared experiences, constructive feedback, and collaborative projects, all of which have enriched my writing.
When I’m not writing, I’m enjoying life in picturesque Central Florida.
